Exhibition of Thai-Australian Contemporary Prints 2005 8-29 July 2005, Chiangmai Province
The College of Fine Arts (COFA UNSW) exhibit 48 prints
at the Chiangmai University Art Museum, on Nimmanhemin
Road, Chiangmai.
This exchange exhibition highlight a diversity of conceptual
and technical approaches, featuring works from UNSW graduate
and post-graduate programs as well as the academic and
UNSW technical staff as well as prints from Australian
artists of national reputation.

UNSW launched the International Engineering Program in
Thailand
27 June 2005, Bangkok
Professor John Ingleson, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (International & Development,
and Professor Brendon Parker, the Dean of the Faculty
of Engineering, signed the MOU with Thammasat on International
Engineering Program on 27 June 2005 at Thammasat University.
This program will enable up to 95 students to undertake
the first part of their studies at Thammasat before
transferring to UNSW to enter the third year of a Bachelor
of Engineering (Honours) degree program. Range of engineering
disciplines include chemical, civil, electrical and
telecommunications, computer, and mechanical and manufacturing.

UNSW Faculty of Science visited Chula, Mahidol and Chiangmai universities
27-30 June 2005, Bangkok and Chiangmai
Ms. Carole Renouf, Director, Marketing and Development,
Faculty of Science, visited Chulalongkorn University,
Mahidol University and Chiangmai University to explore
research collaborations and exchange programs.

Visit Assumption University (ABAC)
10 June 2005, Bangkok
Professor Angele Caveye, Associate Dean (Postgraduate),
Faculty of Commerce and Economics UNSW, met with Dr.
Vindhai Cocracul, Deputy Vice President for Academic
Affairs of ABAC, Dr. Cherdpong Sibunruang, Dean of School
of Management, Dr. Uree Cheasakul, Asst. Dean and Chairperson,
School of Management and Mr. Glen Vivian Chatelier, Director,
Office of International Affairs of Assumption University,
Bangna Campus.
